Travel Information
If you’re joining us from abroad - welcome! Here’s everything you need to know about getting to the wedding and making the most of your stay in Cyprus.
Getting to Cyprus
✈️ Paphos Airport (PFO) is the closest and most convenient option. It's just a short drive from the wedding venues and typically less crowded than Larnaca.
Larnaca Airport (LCA) is about 1.5–2 hours away by car. Only consider this if flights to Paphos aren't available from your location.
If you do have to use Larnaca Airport, you have the following options for getting to Paphos:
- 🚌 Kapnos shuttle can take you from Larnaca Airport to Paphos Airport - you can get a taxi or a different bus from there
- You can rent a car, use it whilst at Paphos and then drive it back to Larnaca airport. Renting a car is generally recommended if you want to get around, but it's up to you!
- You can take a taxi, but the fares are quite expensive - not recommended
Getting Around
🚗 Renting a car is highly recommended for convenience and flexibility. Driving is on the left side, roads are well maintained, and parking is generally straightforward.
🚌 Public transport is limited between towns, and buses don’t run late. Taxis and rideshare apps like Bolt are available in cities, but not always in rural areas.
Where to Stay
There are several great options near the venues. A few recommendations:
- Aliathon Resort – The reception/party will take place here!
- Hotels & Apartments by Poseidonos avenue – Poseidonos avenue in Kato Paphos (Downtown Paphos) has numerous hotels and flats, with many great options for all kinds of budgets
